第三届MOR论文发展工作坊(PDW)论文征集通知(第二轮)

为更好推动《组织管理研究》(MOR)实现其成为“关于中国和全球比较背景下管理和组织相关研究的开创性见解的重要期刊”的使命,更好地促进学者发展本土理论、探索中国情境下的有趣管理现象和研究问题, IACMR和MOR将于2025年6月15日(2025 IACMR大会期间),在西安曲江国际会议中心举办第三届MOR论文发展工作坊。









PDW内容






本次会议暨论文发展工作坊包含三部分:

首先,由主编陈晓萍教授介绍MOR工作坊的基本信息;

其次,由高级编辑贾明教授作为本次工作坊的组织者详细介绍投稿情况和本次MOR工作坊的编辑团队嘉宾;

最后,MOR的编辑团队将对经过评审后接受的论文全文和详细版研究计划书进行深入讨论,并提出详细指导反馈。

我们鼓励所有IACMR会员, 特别是博士生和青年学者积极投稿,踊跃参与本次会议。为确保每篇接受的投稿都能够获得详细反馈并进一步提升,本次论文发展工作坊计划接受论文和详细版研究计划书共计约20篇左右。如果你已经向IACMR会议投稿,你可以把同样的论文投到此工作坊。MOR为本次会议接受的投稿提供快速审稿流程,并在符合MOR出版标准后及时发表。



会议投稿指南






· 征文范围: 我们欢迎任何符合MOR期刊论文范围的投稿。投稿研究领域包括但不限于公司战略、组织行为、人力资源管理、创业精神、国际商业、家族企业以及技术和创新等。

· 投稿方式: 请于2025年4月15日之前将论文全文或详细版研究计划书同时发送至张莹副教授(zhangyingmgt@nwpu.edu.cn)王娟副教授(wangjuan1990101@nwpu.edu.cn)完成投稿,邮件主题为“Submission for MOR PDW at IACMR”。会议将于2025年5月15日前做出录用决定。

· 稿件要求: 投稿既可以是完整版论文全文,也可以是详细版研究计划书。稿件语言为英文。

· 温馨提示:申请投稿参加本工作坊,请确保您注册参加本届IACMR双年会:IACMR 2025大会注册开启

(1) 论文全文应为完整版论文,请按照以下MOR作者投稿指南准备稿件:

(2) 详细版研究计划书

a. 字数应在5000字以内,并包含研究问题、简要的文献综述、学术观点和其他必要部分;对于量化研究,还应包含研究假设、目标样本、计划使用的测量工具和数据分析计划等;

b. 计划书投稿应包括完成论文全文的时间计划表,所有作者简洁版本的学术简历(五页以内),并突出作者的教育背景、工作经历和学术成就。

Call For Papers



THE 3RD MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION REVIEW PAPER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP AT IACMR (Second Round)


PDW Time: June 15, 2:00-5:00pm,2025 Beijing Time

Purpose






To better promote the mission of the Management and Organization Review (MOR) to become a "premier journal publishing papers that provide ground-breaking insights into management and organization Chinese context and global comparable contexts", and to better facilitate the development of phenomenon-based indigenous management theories, IACMR and MOR will co-host the third MOR Paper Development Workshop on June 15, 2025 at Xi’an Qujiang International Convention Center, during the IACMR 2025 conference.



Contents






The afternoon workshop will be divided into three parts.

First, Professor Xiao-Ping Chen, the Editor-in-Chief of MOR, will introduce the basic information about the MOR Paper Development Workshop (PDW).

Second, Professor Ming Jia, the senior editor at MOR and host of this PDW, will present details about this PDW at IACMR, including the submission process and the invited panelists.

Finally, senior editors from MOR will provide in-depth discussions on the full papers and detailed research proposals of accepted submissions. They will also offer detailed guidance and feedback to help the authors improve the paper.

We encourage all IACMR members, especially PhD students and young scholars, to submit papers and actively participate in this conference. To ensure that each accepted submission receives detailed feedback and can be further improved, the PDW plans to accept approximately 20 papers and/or detailed research proposals. The papers you submitted to the IACMR conference can also be submitted to this PDW. MOR plans to provide a fast review process for submissions accepted at this conference and publish them promptly once they meet MOR's publication standards.



Submission Guidelines






Paper Submission: We welcome any submission that falls within the scope of MOR.  Submissions are welcome in research areas such as corporate strategy, organizational behavior, human resource management, entrepreneurship, international business, family business, and technology and innovation, among others.

Please submit your full paper or detailed research proposal to Associate Professor Ying Zhang (zhangyingmgt@nwpu.edu.cn) and Associate Professor Juan Wang (wangjuan1990101@nwpu.edu.cn) with the subject “Submission for MOR PDW at IACMR” by April 15, 2025. The conference will make the acceptance decision before May 15, 2025.



Submission Requirements






Submissions can be either a full paper or a detailed research proposal. Language of the submission should be English.

(1)  Full paper

For full papers, please prepare your manuscript following the MOR Author Submission Guidelines outlined below:

(2)  Detailed research proposal

a. Proposals should not exceed 5,000 words and should include research questions, a brief and relevant literature review, disciplinary perspectives for the study and other relevant parts if necessary; for quantitative research, it should also include hypotheses, targeted sample, planned measures and analysis.

b. Proposal submissions should include a timeline to complete the project and a short version (no more than five pages) of all authors’ academic vitae, highlighting the authors’ educational background, professional experience, and academic achievements.
